We’ve had a lot going on with our servers switching to being Linux-based and and having new IP’s. All of our servers are up but we are having some crashing issues with some of the plugins as of late.

Also we’ve been having a problem of lack of leadership. I myself have been working on a few different long-term projects. These projects could bring Die to Win to a whole new level, but they have taken me “out of the game” per se for now.

We have many new admins and moderators being promoted to combat the anarchy that our community is experiencing. Much of the blame here lies with me, as I have been pretty much unavailable as-of-late.

I still have an “open door” style policy, but we have Four admins that should be approached first.

- Chaosrunner
- Jamie
- EigthCypher
- Tippet

These admins have the authority to do anything I do, and the skill to take care of our problems. In-fact much of DTW’s success can be attributed to these admins, as they’re skill and dedication have made things possible that I myself never could have, and have been the keystone on many of our larger endeavors since our inception.

For these next few weeks things around here are going to be a bit hectic. But I promise you our plans for this summer are HUGE,, and we intend to re-create the Die to Win atmosphere that has brought in, and kept you around.

I’d also like to end this by saying thank you to each and every one of our members, YOU ARE Die to Win.
YOU are the kick-ass community that I’m so proud of. YOU are the source of the laughter, the success and most of all, the massive amount of fun all of this has been and shall continue to be.

In addition to our various gaming server’s and in celebrate of Minecraft’s official release, a new Minecraft server is born. The server IP is: 206.217.132.181:25571 and it is not white-listed so feel free to invite anyone. It is a 24/7 survival server with 30 slots hosted by End of Reality’s Chicago branch. It is advised that you build far from spawn as to avoid griefer’s from easily finding your builds. Happy Minecraftin!

Our competitive TF2 team has something to get excited for. We have established a team within UGC or United Gaming Clans league. This is DTW’s first entrance into an official event and we are more than excited. We have been practicing in TF2 lobby and with our private scrims. Even though this is our first go, our community has more than enough over-the-top performing gamers and i know we’ll do phenomenal.

Anyone interested in getting in on the competitive side of TF2 should get with an admin, or any member of our competitive squad. Even if there aren’t any primary slots available, things happen that require us to come up with alternates and we need people in-house to practice against. Just ask around, we’ll show you the way.

You can register to the UGC team by searching for us at www.ugcleague.com the password to join can be obtained from an admin or team member.

24/7 KOTH is LIVE!

We’ve been toying around with the idea of changing the Chicago 2Fort server to something else. The main purpose behind originally making it a 24/7 2Fort was to gain some quality members. It was populating well and serving it’s recruiting purpose. We just wanted something different, and we certainly don’t want to be known as the 2Fort clan.

So we changed it. I credit [DTW] Infernal with pushing the idea. I hope it works out, and I hope all of you enjoy it, and use it enough to justify keeping it the way it is now. Enjoy.
